  1. What makes the Fischer TS-1 so unique?
  •  The Fischer TS-1 effective treats a wide range of common minor skin conditions, non-invasively, with instantaneous results
  •  Fischer TS-1 treatments are extremely rapid (3-5 sec duration) and involve minimum client discomfort, without a need for anesthesia
  1. How does the Fischer TS-1 work?
  •  The Fischer TS-1 works on the principle of liquids being attracted to heat, which is released by various sized probes
    •    A high frequency, radio wave current is conducted and attracted to the liquids on the skin’s surface, or within the skin irregularity
    •    This technology enables therapists to treat skin abnormalities without penetrating the skin’s surface
  1. How quick are the treatments and how quickly do you see the results?
  •  Treatments last only a few seconds (average 3-5 sec)
    •    Results are instantaneous
  1. Can the Fischer TS-1 be used in conjunction with a standard skin care treatment or facial?
  •  Yes, it is actually generally recommended that the Fischer TS-1 be used after a skin treatment, when the skin has been cleansed properly
  1. Can the Fischer TS-1 be used in conjunction with a microdermabrasion treatment?
  •  Yes, following a microdermabrasion treatment, minor skin irregularities will become more visible
    •    Fischer TS-1 treatments can then be performed

This technique uses high frequency electrical current to dehydrate the top layer of the particular skin condition in order to allow new, healthy skin to grow. Tattooemergency911 uses Radio Frequency which works on the epidermis only. It can be applied precisely to the area to be treated; or, in other words, “treats the weeds and leaves the grass alone”.

There is minimal discomfort for the client and healing time is short, from a day or two for small irregularities to a few weeks for larger skin abnormalities

Skin tags, also known as Acrochordons or fibrous polyps, are small flesh colored pouches that can either be raised on the skin or protrude from the skin on a stalk called a “peduncle.”

They are made up of loosely arranged collagen fibers and blood vessels surrounded by a thickened or thinned-out epidermis.

Skin tags may be either smooth or irregular. Although the colors usually match your skin tone, they can sometimes have a deeper pigmentation like that of a mole. They can be found singly or in multiples. Skin tags are small and grow slowly, and they should never get to be more than about .05 inch in size.

  • THEY CAN BE A SMALL FLAP OF SKIN OR A ROUND BUMP THAT IS ATTACHED TO YOUR BODY BY A STALK.
  • THEY SHOULD BE THE SAME COLOR AS YOUR SKIN OR A BIT DARKER AND SHOULD BE SOFT TO THE TOUCH.
  • IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING THAT DOESN’T MATCH THIS DESCRIPTION, YOU MAY WANT TO VISIT YOUR DOCTOR.

Because these minor skin irregularities lay in the epidermis, exfoliating with Microdermabrasion before removal is recommended as it allows you to better see and access the irregularity.

What the cause of skin tags:
Skin tags are more common in middle-aged women then men or children, but anybody can get them. Both men and women are susceptible to them as they age and they are quite common in those over 60 years of age. They can occur after pregnancy or weight gain. They are also more likely seen in obese people as well as people with Type 2 diabetes. A tendency to develop skin tags may run in families. In some cases babies are born with skin tags.

Skin tags are most likely found where the skin may crease, such as around the neck, underarms, groin, under the breasts, inside of the upper thigh area, or on the eyelids or cheeks. They can occur just about anywhere!

Cherry angiomas

These are clusters of capillaries at the surface of the skin, forming a small round dome, a papule. They range in color from bright red, purple or brown. When they first develop, they may be only a tenth of a millimeter in diameter and almost flat, appearing as small red dots. However, they then usually grow in diameter. As they grow larger, they tend to expand in thickness, and may take on the raised and rounded dome shape.  Cherry angiomas may bleed profusely if they are picked at or scraped.

Some Causes:

Heredity may be the biggest factor; Cherry angiomas appear spontaneously in many people in middle age but can also occur in an aggressive eruptive manner in any age. The underlying cause for the development is not understood, much because of a lack of interest in the subject

Present findings suggest that hemangioma may occur through two different mechanisms: angiogenesis (the formation of new blood) and vasculogenesis (the formation of new veins).

In most patients, the number and size of cherry angiomas increases with advancing age. They are harmless, except in very rare cases that involve a sudden appearance of many angiomas, which can be a sign of a developing internal malignancy.

If they are cosmetically unappealing or are subject to bleeding, angiomas may be removed, but this may possibly cause scarring or scabbing.

Why get them removed?

Although skin tags are benign, there are number reasons why you may want them removed.

~They may be rubbed and irritated by clothing, jewelry, etc. which may cause some pain and an inflammation of the area.

~And of course, for cosmetic reasons.

Please follow the outline below to prepare.

It is recommended that you take the following into consideration:

Pre-Care:

  • DO use PCA SKIN daily care products 10 to 14 days prior to treatment. This will prepare the skin, allow for better treatment results and reduce the risk of complications.
  • It is recommended that extended sun exposure be avoided, especially in the 10 days prior to treatment.
  • It is recommended to delay use of Tretinoin, Retin-A, Renova, Differin, Tazorac, Avage, EpiDuo, Ziana and high-percentage AHA and BHA products for approximately seven days prior to treatment. Consult your Physician before temporarily discontinuing use of any prescription medications.
  • Treatments may cause slight redness, tightness, peeling, flaking or temporary dryness. Most patients find it unnecessary to apply makeup, as the skin will be smooth, dewy and radiant following treatment. If you would like to apply makeup, allow approximately 15 minutes for the pH of the skin to stabilize before applying foundation.
  • DON’T go to a tanning bed two weeks prior to treatment. This practice should be discontinued due to the increased risk of skin cancer and signs of aging.
  • DON’T have another treatment, unless recommended.
  • DON’T wax, tweeze or use depilatory creams for 7 days prior.

After a Skin Classic Treatment it is common to feel:

Post-Care:

  • Irritatedas well as redness and some crusting may form on areas involved
  • Make sure you DO NOT pick at the crusting because prematurely removing the crust may cause hyperpigmentation or scarring
  • If the area is still irritated by the end of the day a clean baggie of frozen peas works well 10 minutes on and 10 minutes off. Moisturize after with something gentle.
  • Keep your skin clean and moisturized during the day.
  • Makeup may be worn over moisturizing sunscreen.
  • MUST use moisturizing sun block everyday wheather it is rainy or snowy. Sun block is your defense against anti-aging.
  • AVOID direct sunlight immediately following treatment.
  • When cleansing the face or showing use mild products without alcohol
  • Pat dry instead of rubbing to prevent removal of crust
  • DO NOT use any other form of peeling or bleaching products for 30 days
  • After crust sloughs the skin may be pink. Be sure to wear SPF 30 or higher

Contraindication:

  • DO NOT use any other form of peeling or bleaching products for 30 days
  • After crust sloughs the skin may be pink. Be sure to wear SPF 30 or higher
  • Do not use during pregnancy
  • Do not use with implanted pace makers or some heart conditions
  • High blood pressure, anticoagulants may affect treatment
  • When in doubt about a skin problem have the lesion evaluated by a physician before you treat
  • Is there any down time?

Yes and no. After the treatment it may look like there is a scab-like crust over the area. This will fall off on its own in 3-7 days.  During the healing process the treated areas can be covered with mineral makeup. After that, the skin may look pinkish or brownish for up to 6-8 weeks as the new skin goes through the complete healing cycle and matches the surrounding area.
